Dr. Pass attended the University of Rhode Island and New England College of Optometry earning his B.S. and O.D. degrees. He served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps at Irwin Army Hospital, Fort Riley, KS from 1966-1968. He has been practicing optometry at his present location since 1976. Dr. Pass provides full scope optometric care.

Dr. Pass is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Rhode Island Optometric Association, and the American Public Health Association.

Dr. Bertherman graduated cum laude from Providence College in 1989, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry where he received his Doctorate in Optometry in 1993. Upon graduation from Optometry school, he received the prestigious Newenco Clinic award.

Dr. Bertherman joined the practice in 1994 and became a partner in 2000. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. Dr. Bertherman provides comprehensive optometric care to all ages.

Dr. Kokturk graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Science degree from Seton Hall University in 1995 and went on to earn her doctorate from SUNY College of Optometry in 2000. She then completed a Residency Program in hospital based Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the Hudson Valley VA hospital in New York.

In 2002 Dr. Kokturk earned her Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry and currently serves as the Regional Chair of Admissions for the Academy. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Rhode Island Optometric Association.

Dr. Kokturk provides comprehensive optometric care including management of refractive and cataract surgery and custom contact lens fittings.
